Root - The Homeland

Root: The Homeland Expansion is an expansion for Root that adds new factions, maps, and fresh strategic tension to the Woodland.

Rediscover the Woodland with three new factions: the Lilypad Diaspora, the Twilight Council, and the Knaves of the Deepwood. Each faction brings a different pressure point to Root’s asymmetric conflict, from guarded militancy and political assemblies to raids, hostages, and ransom. Two new maps give experienced players more ways to fight, negotiate, and adapt across a changing forest. A copy of Root is required to play, and the expansion supports 2–6 players, ages 10+, in about 60–90 minutes. Available now at Boarding School Games—expand your Woodland war.
