Belratti is a clever and cooperative game where players work together to curate an art collection for their museum while avoiding fake paintings from the notorious forger, Belratti. Split into two roles—buyers and painters—players must communicate and collaborate to navigate through each round without falling victim to Belratti’s tricks.

The game begins by presenting two cards as topics or themes for the round. The buyers request a certain number of paintings that they believe will match these themes. The painters then choose cards from their hands that they think best align with the topics, adding them to the pool. However, Belratti’s forgeries are secretly mixed in, increasing the difficulty of selecting the genuine paintings. Once all the cards are shuffled and revealed, the buyers must pick the paintings that they believe were created by the painters, not the fakes introduced by Belratti.

If the buyers correctly choose the painters’ cards, the group gains points. However, if too many of Belratti’s fakes are mistakenly added to the museum’s collection, the players risk losing the game. After each round, roles rotate, allowing everyone to experience both the strategic decision-making of the painters and the deduction challenges faced by the buyers.
